Membership.Membership—your continued membership is important and as we have said on many occasions, strong support is necessary for us to ensure that our livelihoods are not harmed by legislation that is not supportive! We will continue to monitor and involve ourselves at State Board meetings, which has been welcomed!
A Message from the ISPAG President
Your State License for Company license renewal for 2011/2012 cycle is due June 30, 2011; for Regis- tered employees—due August 31, 2011. Instructor licenses (Classroom/Firearms) are due June 30. The Licensing Board will require licensing by e-mail as well as payment by credit card for fees.
Don't be foolish and attempt to defraud the Board by certifying that you have completed the CE require- ments, when you have not. Those members who have completed their CE requirements were provided with Certificates of Completion and the Association has a record of those members. If you are likely to be audited by the Licensing Board and found lacking, you can lose your license and livelihood, including Board action. If you have attended other approved Association seminars which are related to your oc- cupation, ensure you have appropriate documentation. You must have completed 16 hours of Continu- ing Education, which includes Ethics and Homeland Security topics.
Due to the expense in setting up Seminars, the May 6,7th program will be the only scheduled event un- til the November 2011 Fall Conference/Seminar—
